Divine soccer ministry-Uganda (DSM-U) is a Community Based Organization (CBO) registered in the Republic of Uganda under the Ministry of Gender, Labor, and Social Development. We are devoted to serving the needs of orphans, foster children, youth, and other vulnerable groups to enhance their well being through the vehicles of soccer and education.
Divine soccer Uganda was established in 2013 as a response to the increasing number of street children and orphans in the local community and Uganda as a whole created by the catastrophe of HIV/AIDS. The increasing number of street children, widows, single mothers, and grandparent-headed families contributes to the increasing number of orphans and other vulnerable children dropping out of school.
Divine Soccer Ministry was established to help minimize the vulnerabilities many of these children face by providing soccer training and education. It has since expanded its programs to include female empowerment, housing, and mission trips which help to address more of the root causes of these vulnerabilities.
