Hope is the answer!

June Update Complete Lock Down - Uganda

Mathew 25:  35-36

For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger and you invited Me in; naked and you clothed  Me; I was sick and you visited Me.

Greetings Sponsors!

Hope this finds you all well and enjoying the beautiful weather.

I want to share a grave prayer request first of all.  Uganda has resumed lockdown procedures.  Covid is on the rise there and Masaka is experiencing many cases and deaths.  Our families there need our prayers, please.  The children at Divine Junior School have been quite sick for the last couple weeks.  Absences from school are many. Not sure if their sickness is Covid related or not.  School is now closed for 6 weeks all over the country.

Now, on to praises!  Our fundraiser was a splendid success.  We reached the goal of $10,000 to buy a good used van. Thank you to all who contributed.  God has truly blessed the ministry.  We will soon have safe and reliable transportation for children and staff.

We are also rejoicing over gaining some new sponsors.  Welcome to Sally and Fred Carrier from Common Ground Church and Laura and Mickey Heestand from Connecting Life Church.  All live in Salem, Ohio.  Some of our current sponsors expanded to sponsor some children attending DJS.  Thank you for caring so much for our children.  We do still have some children at DJS who need sponsors.  Ask your friends and neighbors if they would like to be a part of changing children's lives and changing the world.  Many sponsored kids are fulfilling their dreams.  We have several of our high school graduates who will soon be attending college, a dream they never thought would be possible.  YOU are making a difference.  Thank you.

If you visit RKU on facebook, you will have seen the painting of the school inside and out has been completed.  Beautiful job workers.  It is looking great!  Other jobs around the compound are being completed as well.

Remember to keep the staff, families and all the children in our prayers that they survive the pandemic at this time.  Praying believers are vital to our ministry.

Thank you again for all your great support in changing the lives of the destitute.

Enjoy your summer and stay safe and well.

To the glory of God and Jesus Christ our King!

Matthew 25: 40  The King will answer and say to them, truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.
